This week you get to meet Alex White of White Mystery! White Mystery is the ferocious rock’n’roll sibling duo of Miss Alex White and Francis Scott Key White from Chicago. Named a Top Act and Best Video premiere by MTV, Top Ten Indie Album by The Chicago Tribune, the two-piece shared stages with Weezer, the Gories, and Mavis Staples, then played more 120 shows around North America in 2011. Guitar World named Miss Alex White in “Ten Female Guitarists You Should Know.” Look out for a new release, video, and SXSW tour to come from White Mystery this year!

If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
Orange! It’s the color of the year by Pantone, and the brand of guitar amp I prefer.

What is your favorite holiday and why?
4/20, cuz it’s the White Mystery band anniversary and annual record release!

What is your most memorable moment in the past year?
Playing with Weezer at Riot Fest to a sea of smiling people!

What upcoming events are you excited for?
I’m excited to hit the road with White Mystery for the next two months and play 70 shows around North America, with a kick-off at SXSW and a record release on 4/20 in New York. Check out all the tour dates here!
